Happy March! It’s officially Women’s History month! A month dedicated to celebrating the awesomeness of what it means to be a female. I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to live in a generation where women are constantly making iconic moves and claiming their seat at any table they see fit. Watching these moment makes me not only proud of them for paving the way, but also proud of myself, as a woman, as a black woman, as an entrepreneur. Without them I would have never had the courage to step out on faith and create CustoMYze Me. 

While we associate the term history with the past, the truth is that it’s being rewritten everyday, with each new moment, new challenge, and new goal being achieved. Each of us will make our own mark on this world whether that mark be big or small, everyone plays a role, and will have their own chapter. In honor of Women’s History Month I intend to highlight a few women that were willing to share their personal chapters with me.  We’ll be featuring Real women with Real truths and Real experiences. Hopefully this series will inspire you to not be afraid of your own testimony, but instead to embrace it and share it.
